5 – Berlin zoo is one of the largest in the world with over 14,000 creatures and 1,500 species.

7 – Berlin is nine times bigger than Paris.


8 – When JFK visited Berlin, he greeted the city with the words ‘Ich bin ein Berliner’. This can translate to mean ‘I am a jelly donut’.
